I got the Kindle version and read the entire thing in one sitting within about 30 minutes. The author is really concise with the information she provides. She gives her honest opinion about certain fasts and includes alternative fasting/diet options. My favorite quote from the book that I'll most likely carry with me for life is when she states, "You have two choices in life: make excuses or make changes." I find that the hardest thing about losing weight is finding the right motivation to do so. I go in and out of living a healthy lifestyle, so during my random phases of laziness, this quote could really inspire me to press on through and just do what I need to get done. If I don't like the current state of my body, I can either uselessly
complain or make changes in my life to fix it.This book really emphasizes the importance of drinking plenty of water. I know I should drink more water daily, but sometimes I forget, so the book was a great reminder to do so. At the end of the book, she provides a checklist of things to do to ensure healthy weight loss within a week. Nothing is too extreme or out of the ordinary, so anyone could follow the steps. I'm really excited to put the methods the author suggested to use. I'm super grateful to have this book as a reference to read whenever I want now.
